Gloucester’s B Squad turned in a fine second half performance to grab three Cotswold Challenge Shield points in West Horsley.

A lacklustre first half showing in which Toby Butcher and Shiyak Sutherland went closest, was improved upon after the interval with Butcher, Max Knight, Josh Mason and Max Weatherley beginning to dominate the midfield.

A run down the right wing was quickly shielded in the corner. A quick dash to the left meant that Butcher found his way running into the box and a fine cross was converted by Sutherland from close range to give the visitors the lead.

Mason, himself enjoying a productive outing, found himself with the ball on the left side after a mistake from the Woking defence. He quickly squared the ball for Sutherland whose first-time shot thrashed past the Woking keeper.

Finally, Sutherland flicked in Weatherley’s left wing corner to complete his treble and secure the points for the Gloucester boys.
